Herd Sires

Kraye Big Country

Kraye Big Country

Kraye Big Country

Big Country was a no brainer to use after seeing him in person.  He stamps his calves with a lot of middle and performance.  We will be calving his first daughters here this spring and we can not wait!  He is a bull we plan on using for a long, long time.

Baldridge Badger

Kraye Big Country

Kraye Big Country

Badger was a bull we saw in Mitchell SD at the collection facility and we were not leaving there until we could get a few straws released to us.  A very docile, dense made bull with near perfect feet and angle.  Another one we plan on using for a very long time.  His calves were our heaviest sire group this fall.

JR Fast Forward

Kraye Big Country

SAV Renown 3439

Fast Forward was a bull we saw up in Billings MT at Origen that we liked also.  He is a high marbling, high growth bull that keeps extremely well.  They had a sign on his pen that said “no grain and only half the hay” because he would get too fat to collect!  We are definitely hoping he passes his traits along and will be using him for the next few years.

SAV Renown 3439

SAV Renown is a bull we absolutely cant get enough cows out of , as it shows , a lot of the mothers of these bulls are renown. He makes excellent females that have good feet, udders, dispositions, keep easy, and make outstanding mothers. I could go on and on about him, does a lot of things right and we will continue to use him as long as we can.

Rounds Building Block

Rounds Young Guns H035

Building Block is a bull we had to hold out of our sale in 2024 because he got hurt.  He was to be our Lot 1 bull of course.  He gradually got better and better so we ended up using him and ultimately decided to keep him.  He has been collected and will be used pretty heavily on our heifers next spring.  His calves have some gas in the tank and blends a lot of traits we strive for.  Out of a very good cow family.

Young Guns was a bull we raised and sold to our good friends and neighbors at the Young Ranch.  He was one I wanted to keep my eye on as time went on and as a three year old we had him collected.  The next spring we bred every one of our heifers to him and a handful of cows.  His calves this fall were the heaviest set of calves we have ever had out of our heifers.  We did end up helping three heifers at calving time and he does follow the cow on birth weight it appears.  His calves averaged 79 pounds for us out of both cows and heifers.  We purchased him back this last spring but unfortunately he got hurt and we had to sell him.  Luckily we have a few straws of him left.  His Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma are all pathfinders.
